Big thanks to Molly and Coriandr for featuring me. The interview can be found here: [link]

I guess I'm so used to the venom that spews from FOX news here that hearing such a nice (meant in a positive way, vs nice as a kind but noncommittal response) interview is a breath of fresh air. Artists everywhere recognize themselves in that interview. Felt-tips, yes! I loved them right through college, right up to the point where a gallery owner took me aside & educated me about light-fastness, acid content...must've been the class I missed...Oh yeah, happiness was a fresh marker & paper that I could control the bleeding on.

I think artist's work is almost always personal & symbolic, though as inspiration gets filtered, so does the art sometimes take on disguises. Or not. Having read your blogs in the past months, I think the symbolism is pretty straight up, but then again, that's your art filtered through me...so really...

I have a cold, so I'm out of my head- aided a little by medication. Sigh, just not out of my head enough to be interesting...:altermind:
